With Corte Pavone, the Loacker family is pursuing a unique concept that focuses on individual vineyards in the area around Montalcino. There will be 7 different wines when the project is completed. Fior di Meliloto is the fifth wine in the series.

Without a doubt, a wine of world-class format awaits us here; one of the great wines from the region. The Loackers are taking us on an exciting journey, and it's a must for every wine lover who loves Sangiovese.

In the glass, the wine is bright ruby red. The nose has a typical dark cherry scent, with plums and dark berries. The wood is very discreet and hugs the wine. It's super juicy and mouthwashing on the palate, with dark berry fruit paired with fantastic acidity. The tannins are ripe and crumbly, but very present. It's a close-knit and dense wine that maintains its power.

This is so much fun as a young wine, but it will develop enormously and easily has 15-20 years of potential.
