Weingut Leo Hillinger Constantia HILL white 2021, 0,75 L

When we visited Leo Hillinger's winery, we were immediately impressed by the fruit and harmony of the wine. Leo himself is in Cape Town twice a year to oversee this joint project with the Waibel family from Dornbirn. And this white wine reflects the grape varieties of this beautiful region particularly well.

Consisting of 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Semillon, the wine was fermented and matured in stainless steel. Typical Sauvignon aromas of yellow fruits, mango and elder fruit hit the palate with slightly grassy notes. This fruit combination is animating with a lively citrus freshness that is great fun and creates the desire for a second sip. The Semillon provides the structure and gives the wine a little more elegance.

We like to drink this wine with stir-fried vegetables, roasted trout with wasabi puree or simply on its own as an accompaniment to conversations with good friends.
