Description
Chianti Colli Senesi is a lesser-known Chianti region, particularly next to Chianti Classico, but you get a lot of wine for the money here.
Il Palagione's Caelum is named after a constellation in the southern hemisphere, which one could say represents heavenly indulgence.
The name creates certain associations that are quite justified. A classic, yet powerful Chianti made from Sangiovese. Beautiful berry aromas, lots of sour cherry and cherries, plus mineral notes shaped by the soil and a delicately noticeable woody aroma. A very round and harmonious red wine that goes great with food and is perfect alone in the glass.
A lot of wine for the money and a great expression of Tuscany.
