Description
It is no longer a secret that the red Austrian grape variety Zweigelt thrives in Rust on Lake Neusiedl. With this wine, Günter Triebaumer manages the balancing act between a fine wine and everyday drinking gpleasure.
Fermented in stainless steel tanks and matured in large wooden barrels, the spicy, fruity flavours are clearly in the foreground here. Dark cherries, some white pepper and violets. Dry, with intense fruit and a juicy, charming finish. A beautiful, easy to drink wine that is refined but also goes well with many everyday dishes.
