Weingut Günter u. Regina Triebaumer Ruster Reserve 2019

Collaborating with the excellent winery G+R Triebaumer from Rust, 9wines created this beguiling, powerful and exclusive red wine cuvée. Blaufränkisch, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon result in a perfect symbiosis.

After tasting many barrels in the cellar, this blend was put together to appeal to everyone. Harmony is paired with enormous drinking pleasure and the power of the Rust vineyards. 60% Blaufränkisch and 20% each of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot were allowed to mature in barrique barrels for a good 18 months and then wait another year for the ideal drinking maturity in the bottle. Now a comfortably warm overall picture is coming together.

It's dark and concentrated with subtle roasted aromas on the palate. Juicy with a fine fruit sweetness and every sip is comfortably warm down into the finish. Black elderberry, nougat with blackberries and subtle vanilla appear. It's a full mouthful of wine. Is already very accessible, but can be stored for up to 10 years. And with 14.5 vol.%, it's packed with plenty of muscle.

This wine will shine at every party and goes particularly well with pizza, burgers, dark meat and, of course, perfect with BBQs.
