Cantina Girlan Pinot Noir Riserva "Curlan" 2019 OHK, 0,75 L

Pinot Noir Curlan is a fairly new wine from Cantina Girlan and this exquisite wine impresses from the very first sip. Girlan is considered one of the best wine cooperatives in South Tyrol with extensive expertise in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

There is no question that this top wine was highly praised by critics right from the start.

In the glass it has a beautiful ruby ​​red colour with garnet reflections. Intense notes of red berries on the nose along with cherries and strawberries with an underlying hint of spice and nuances of woody undergrowth. Also present are fine notes of vanilla and roasted aromas thatnks to the sophisticated toasting of the wood.

Very elegant and balanced on the palate, with soft but strong tannins and a well-integrated acidity. Very full-bodied. Fine aromas of spices and a subtle woody note complement the wine perfectly. A very long finish with lots of red berries and fine spice. Yes, just what a Pinot Noir should be.

Pairs well with red meat, game meat and mature cheeses but it is also a pleasure to enjoy by itself in a large glass or by a cosy fireplace.
