The "G" 2019 is once again one of the best red wines in Austria! With an incredible 100 Falstaff points, the 2019 vintage has been recognised as one of the best wines in Austria.

Only in the very best years is this red wine cuvee of 95% Blaufränkisch and 5% St. Laurent brought to market. The grapes come from the estate's oldest vines, which are up to 90 years old! After 40 months of ageing in new barrique barrels, this monumental cuvee is still at the beginning of its almost infinitely long journey.

Dark ruby-garnet colour sparkles in the glass. Wild berries, liquorice and notes of precious wood on the nose. Full-bodied, dense and youthful on the palate. Black cherries, cassis and delicate spice characterise the flavour. Mineral-salty finish with enormous length.

A red wine with enormous ageing potential, a meditation wine and a wine to broaden your horizons. A cinematic red wine of which there is unfortunately too little.
