The wine benefits from plenty of air, ideally through decanting, which unlocks a wonderful bouquet of bright red fruits, raspberry, vanilla, and woody notes from the barrique. The potential is immediately apparent. There’s a subtle herbal spiciness, minerality, and the characteristic freshness from the high lime content in the soil.
