The 1000-Eimer Berg is an impressive peak in Spitz an der Donau and a landmark of this traditional wine town. Extremely steep stone terraces and permanent air circulation result in a particularly fragrant, elegant Riesling. Especially while still young, the wine is racy and refreshing.

On the nose, distinctive notes of peach with some elderberry. Very juicy on the palate, and elegant with dry fruit depth (2g residual sugar). Maturation in stainless steel tanks means the wine retains a pleasant coolness alongside a spicy acidity. A prime example of a medium-weight Wachau Riesling that's rich in finesse!

Wonderful with many fish dishes and vegetables. A quality wine to enjoy in the first rays of spring sunshine.
