Bread & Butter wines get their name from the typical aromas that arise during Cabernet Sauvignon winemaking. This great example of a drinkable, juicy Cabernet Sauvignon from a literally different world is an accessible entry into the typical Napa Cabs - a lot of cassis, a lot of leather, vanilla and coffee jumping out of the glass.

The impression continues on the palate - a lot of fruit, but a fresh acidity that holds its own. There are also the aromas of toasted bread, wood, vanilla and chocolate.

It's a lot of fun - we also like it because this is almost a clichéd Ami wine, which nevertheless shows that it is anything but jammy.
