Azienda Agricola Bric Cenciurio Barolo DOCG 2017, 0,75 L

Barolo is the king of red wine! You don't always have to go for the big names if you want a regionally representative red. Bric Cenciurio is a relatively young winery from the 1990s whose wines always bring a smile to our faces.

The colour itself is typically brick red and slightly brown, with a delicate edge.

A representative Barolo scent appears on the nose. The wine needs air, then herbal spice clearly emerges, along with plums, leather and typical petrol notes. You can also smell the soil, the minerality of which is very noticeable. The fruit is characterised by strawberries and other red berries, plus the aroma of wood. The wine needs a lot of air, and then gets better and better.

Already quite accessible on the palate, with very pleasant tannins, noticeable, but not excessive. Elegant on the palate, with very good acidity and lines the mouth nicely. A full-bodied wine. The finish is red berry and mineral, with a pleasant spiciness.

You can already drink this wine after decanting, but it should mature for a few more years to reach perfection.
