Description

The Gelber Muskateller is known for its intense fruity aromas of nutmeg and elderflower. It inspires strong opinions and is not to everyone's taste. However, we were immediately impressed by this particular wine - we are conveinced it will win over even those who are not fans of the varietal.

The wine comes from the stone terraces of the famous Wechselberg in Kamptal. The special microclimate here captures the typical flavours in the grape. Overall, it is a sophisticated, charming representative of the varietal but never overpowering or obtrusive. Clear fruit on the palate combined with a pleasant bite. Almost like eating the grape itself. The savoury acidity and the intense muscat fruit are perfectly balanced. So lively and juicy that the bottle will be empty before you know it and you'll be opening the second one!

Ideal as an aperitif for spring and summer parties.
Also pairs well with mildly spicy Asian dishes.
