Chile – Premier Wine Destination Nestled Along the Andes

Personally tasted and approved wines from Chile

Stretching over approximately 1,400 kilometres, Chile is home to nearly 200,000 hectares of vineyards, though only half of this area is used for winemaking. Like many Southern Hemisphere wine regions, European explorers introduced the first vines to Chile. Today, they thrive at the foot of the Andes, reaching altitudes of up to 1,000 meters, extending to the cooler climes of Patagonia. While Cabernet Sauvignon reigns supreme, Sauvignon Blanc and Carmenère are also key varietals in the country's rich wine heritage.
