Podere Sette's style leans toward elegance. Although Bolgheri wines are known for their power and vigour, this Cabernet Franc stands out as a more refined example.

The 2021 vintage is notably stronger and spicier than its predecessor, yet it retains the characteristic leafy notes of Cabernet Franc. Aromas of red berries, with an emphasis on cherry and a subtle coolness, rise from the glass. This profile carries through on the palate, featuring a robust tannin structure, spiciness, and a fine herbal touch. It offers good length and excellent ageing potential.

This wine pairs excellently with food, particularly lamb dishes or braised beef.
