From our point of view, Muralia stands for unusually elegant wines that are unexpected in this hot region. Nevertheless, the wine is bursting with strength; it is already deep red and dark in the glass. Typical red berries on the nose, some herbs and spices and a lot of cassis, as well as a hint of tobacco and leather. Very nicely integrated wood; not too much, but enough to give it an additional aroma. Very juicy and full of pressure on the palate, with plenty of ripe tannins that appear round and elegant on the palate. Beautiful, strong acidity gives the wine the necessary freshness, makes the mouth water and calls for the next sip. An exciting wine from Tuscany, of enormous quality. It will pair perfectly with every Bistecca alla Fiorentina and is great fun for at least one more bottle afterwards.
