A Bordeaux made from 100% Malbec, the Cuvée Heritage 1757 has the year the winery was founded in its name. For 11 generations, the family has been growing wine on their estate in the Côtes de Bourg, a region Bordeaux that is somewhat overlooked. And yet you can get exceptional wines here at a very attractive price.

The wine is bottled after 12 months maturation in barriques, and after almost 5 years it slowly begins to be ready to drink. Even in the glass it is very dark, almost opaque, thanks to the Malbec. On the nose, there are roasted aromas, coffee and a hint of cinnamon. Dense and full-bodied on the palate, red berries, some leather, plus firm tannins. It is really exciting and, if only because of the pure form of the grape variety, which is rare even for Bordeaux, is definitely worth a try.
