It may sound unbelievable, but it's amazing how many great red wines come from Languedoc-Roussillon without breaking the bank. This cuvée of Syrah and Grenache is a perfect example of how we can still be pleasantly surprised.

Fully ripe grapes are handpicked, carefully processed, and aged for 12 months in barriques. The wine's southern origins are evident even in the glass, with a deep, dark colour and rich sparkle.

On the nose, it reveals a bouquet of red fruits and wild berries, accented by fine herbal spices. Notes of coconut, coffee, and minerals also make an appearance. On the palate, the wine is taut and dense yet maintains a certain elegance. It boasts strong, very ripe tannins, a firm structure, and a pleasing acidity. This is southern France at its finest, offering exceptional value.

Pair this wine with Mediterranean cuisine, particularly meats, cheeses, and dark sauces. It's a superb wine for the price, delivering a lot of character and complexity.
