Castello di Bolgheri Bolgheri Superiore DOC 2017

In terms of enjoyment and quality, this cuvée of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot is in no way inferior. After all, the famous wine critic Parker gave it an incredible 95 points.

A wine that is almost too young to drink, but has an enormous shelf life. It will last a good 20 years. After a bit of air, find a rich fruit concentrate of cherries, elderberries, blackberries and a little mint on the nose. It has well-integrated wood from 20 months in barrique. Already quite polished tannins and a finely supporting acidity on the palate. Enormously complex with a unique minerality. Light toasted aromas in the long, elegant finish.
