Description
This classic "Ortswein" wine from Strass in Strassertal is pure Riesling at its best!
The grapes for this elegant wine come from various vineyards in Strassertal. The soils are characterised by their high proportion of primary rock, which is packed in a mixture of loess and brown soil. The soil in these vineyards also has a higher than average limestone content. This is what gives the wine its unmistakable minerality and pure character. Fine stone fruit on the nose, juicy and engaging on the palate. The robust bite is supported by a great minerality and ends with a beautiful, fruity, pleasing finish.
An easy to drink, elegant Riesling, typical of the varietal.
Pairs well with fish but very drinkable on its own too.
